Who This Covers
This policy covers visitors to humtech.ai and people who contact us through it, including anyone who asks us to book
a call or requests a report. Our services are for businesses, and we do not knowingly collect data about children.
Data we process on behalf of clients inside the Optimus platform is governed by the data processing agreement in the
client's contract, not by this policy.
Controller
The controller is Hum Tech Ltd, trading as HumTech, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17016552, registered office
10-12 Barnes High Street, London, SW13 9LW. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office as a data
controller, registration number C1963415. For any question about your data, or to exercise your rights, email
hello@humtech.ai.
Data We Collect
| Category | Examples |
| Identity | Name, business name |
| Contact | Email address, phone number |
| Business | Your website address and what you tell us about your business when you enquire |
| Correspondence | Emails and text messages exchanged with us, including with our booking assistant |
| Technical | IP address, browser and device type, approximate location derived from IP |
| Usage | Pages visited, time on page, referral source, which version of a page you were shown |
How We Collect It
- You give it to us: through the forms on this site, by email, or by text message.
- Automatically: through cookies and similar technologies, server logs, Google Analytics, the Meta Pixel, and our own analytics software.
- From your website: if you give us your web address, we look at the public pages of that site to prepare for a conversation with you.
How We Use It
| Purpose | Legal basis | What that means |
| Responding to your enquiry | Steps before a contract | Booking a call, preparing a report, discussing Optimus with you |
| Running and improving this site | Legitimate interest | Understanding which pages work, fixing errors, comparing versions of a page |
| Advertising measurement | Consent | Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel, only if you accept cookies |
| Following up after an enquiry | Legitimate interest | Contacting you about the thing you asked about. You can stop this at any time |
| Security and legal obligations | Legal obligation / legitimate interest | Preventing abuse of our systems, keeping records we are required to keep |
Your details are only ever used to discuss Optimus and HumTech's services with you. We do not sell them and we do not
share them with anyone for their own marketing.
Our Booking Assistant
If you ask us to book a call, our booking assistant will text you from a UK number to agree a time. The assistant is
software we operate, built on language models provided by Anthropic. It uses the details you gave us and the messages
you send it for one purpose: arranging the call. The conversation is stored with your enquiry so the person you speak
to has the context. You can end the conversation at any time by replying STOP, or by asking for a person instead.
No decision with legal or similarly significant effects on you is made automatically.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
- Essential: needed for the site to work and to remember your cookie choice. Always on.
- Our own analytics: our Optimus software stores a random identifier in your browser so we can recognise a repeat visit, count page views, and show everyone a consistent version of a page while we compare versions. It does not identify you personally and is not shared with anyone.
- Analytics and advertising (optional): Google Analytics measures how the site is used. The Meta Pixel lets us measure whether our adverts on Facebook and Instagram led to a visit, and show adverts to people who have visited. Both set cookies and share data with Google and Meta, who may combine it with what they already know about you.
You can accept or reject the optional cookies using the banner when you first visit, and change your mind later by
clearing cookies for this site in your browser, which brings the banner back. Rejecting them does not affect anything
on the site.

We use a small number of service providers to run this site and respond to you. Each one processes your data only on
our instructions and only for the purpose shown.

International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, which each of these
providers has in place, or by the UK's adequacy decision for the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is
certified under it. You can ask us for details of the safeguard that applies to a particular provider.
Security
- Every page and every connection to our systems is encrypted in transit.
- Access to your data is restricted to the people who need it to respond to you, and is logged.
- Our platform is backed up continuously and the restore process is tested.
